Use of personal data and information:
Al-Plates use in car Dash Cam recording equipment with visual cameras recording the front and rear of the exterior of the car. These cameras are on whenever the training car is being driven and remain on for several minutes after the engine is switched off. The Dash cam also records audio from within the car. The footage is saved onto a sim card, which is overwritten after approximately 4 hours, after which time the footage is permanently deleted. Please note that the in-car audio recording setting is switched to the off position during driving tests, in order to comply with DVSA Driving Test Rules.
